So there’s this girl who’s basically just a trophy, someone to be seen and not touched. She’s involved with a rich guy, but he’s super aggressive and wants to have sex with her anywhere, anytime. It seems like she’s looking for something more or maybe just trying to have some fun on the side.

This series tells the daily life of a couple : Jean and Alexandra. From easy cases: in bed, in the living room, in the kitchen, by phone... to rare ones: lost on an island or in the country, in Hong Kong, during a wedding... Jean and Alexandra's life is not exactly a long, quiet river.

Set during the reign of King Sukjong in the Joseon dynasty, the story focuses on Dong Yi, a water maid who gains the trust of Queen Inhyeon and later the favour of the king when he is moved by her prayers for the health of the Queen during the court disputes caused by Jang Hee Bin. Dong Yi becomes a concubine with the rank of sook-bin and bears a son who will later become the 21st king of Joseon, Yeongjo.

少女漫画誌「別冊マーガレット」に連載された、くらもちふさこの同題恋愛コミックをおよそ30分のOVA化。同系列の「マーガレット」コミックをOVA化してきた「マーガレットVIDEO」シリーズの最後を飾る作品でもあった。本OVA最大の特色は、原作者の意向によってセリフを無しにして（つまり声優はいない）、要所にのみ字幕でセリフを表示。音楽と効果音だけで演出している。妹尾マリ子は少女小説作家の姉マユ子と暮らす少女。五島というボーイフレンドがいるマリ子だが、彼女の内気な性分と五島のわがままな性格もあって、二人の仲はどこかちぐはぐ。ある時、住んでいるアパートがボヤ騒ぎを起こしたため、大家の息子の部屋で暮らすこととなった妹尾姉妹。だがそこは超売れっ子モデル＝夏目の部屋だった。やがて姉の用事で出版社を訪れたマリ子は、モデルをしていた夏目といっしょにグラビア撮影することに。その帰り道に夏目はマリ子に「ホントの恋愛しようよ」と語りかけた……。本作の実制作はマッドハウスが担当。監督や作画監督などを高岡希太郎が手がけている。
